Strike ends at Caesars Windsor, will reopen on June 7

The strike at Caesars Windsor is officially over after the union voted in favor of a new contract on Monday morning.

Local 444 Uniform posted on Monday afternoon that its members have ratified the agreement with a 75 percent vote.

The strike began in April and the union and casino came to a tentative agreement in May but it was rejected with 53 percent of the vote.

The casino and hotel said it will reopen on Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m. Hotel and Nero reservations will be available online immediately and phone-in reservations will be available at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5.

The rescheduled shows at the Colosseum include:
