(WXYZ) — Westbound I-94 has reopened in Detroit following major flooding on the freeway. Eastbound lanes will remain closed at this time.
I-94 had been closed in both directions between I-75 and Greenfield in Detroit for days as crews continued to clean up from the weekend's flooding.
The highway saw localized flooding in several areas, and while pumps were pumping water off the highway, cars, and debris on the road had to be removed.

There are still areas that are flooded, but the water level is going down.
