LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — Governor Gretchen Whitmer will deliver her third State of the State Address on January 27.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the address will be held virtually.
Under normal circumstances, Whitmer would deliver the address in a joint session.
However, to stay within CDC guidelines and prevent unnecessary risk to legislators, justices, staff, and guests the decision was made to go virtual.
The State of the State Address will be delivered on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.
WXYZ will carry the governor's address on-air, online and on your favorite streaming devices.
