You can now make your own mark on Snapchat thanks to a new service the company is rolling out.
Snapchat is introducing an on-demand geofilter service that lets users design their own location tag.
The app initially created them for public places, so users could snap friends and show where they were. Artists were even encouraged to design ones for their city.
Snapchat states in theirofficial blog that they started to get requests to have the geofilters for different businesses and private events, so they launched the service.
Snapchatters just have to design the filter, map the geofence where they want it to appear—and choose the times and dates.
Prices for the filters start at $5 and go through an approval process.

The company also rolled out a special birthday filter in their latest app update. It's free.
You just need to enter the date in the settings and you’ll get a special surprise on your special day.
