A four-minute animated film about two teenage boys falling in love is pulling on people’s heartstrings.
The tale depicts a young boy’s heart popping out of his body and leading him to his object of affection, despite the teen’s attempt to guard his heart.
The film, “In a Heartbeat” was the senior project for two graduates of the Ringling College of Art and Design school in Florida. Beth David and Esteban Bravo said they launched a Kickstarter campaign last year to raise funds, and debuted it Monday. As of Thursday, the short video already had more than 10 million views on YouTube.

A petition is circling the Internet to turn the short film into a feature film.
