Eminem's film "8 Mile" will turn 15 on Nov. 6 and in honor of the anniversary, Shady Records is partnering with a Detroit movie theatre for a special showing.
Bel Air Luxury Cinema hosted the Detroit premiere for 8 Mile and in honor fo the anniversary, they are bringing the movie back to the big screen on Nov. 8.
Tickets for the showing are $8 and go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 18. They can be purchased at 12 p.m. at shadyrecords.com and belairluxurycinema.com. All proceeds will go to The Verses Project which is a branch of the Community Music School - Detroit.
Eminem made his acting debut in 8 MILE which was also filmed in Detroit.
He won an Academy Award for the song "Lose Yourself" which was the first rap/hip hop song to win.
