The Spirit of Detroit in downtown Detroit got some new threads on Thursday morning as crews put on a massive University of Michigan shirt.
The shirt commemorates the university's 200th anniversary since its establishment in the city of Detroit on Aug. 26, 1817.
Located outside the Coleman A. Young building, the Spirit of Detroit will wear the shirt until Aug. 31.
