The search for a suspect in a home invasion and sexual assault prompted lockdowns at several Warren schools on Thursday morning.
According to police, they were searching for a suspect who they thought was armed with a knife.
Fitzgerald High School, Chatterton Middle School, Mound Park Elementary School and Schofield Elementary school were all placed on lockdown as they searched for the suspect.
Eventually, police were able to get the suspect in custody and the lockdown was lifted at the schools.
