Get ready to get your beer on. Royal Oak HopCat opens Saturday.
If the 100 beers, including 70 rotating taps, wasn't lure enough, they're giving away their famous Crack Fries to everybody who walks in the door Saturday. And the first 200 customers will receive a free order of Crack Fries once a week for an entire year.
The bar, located at 208 W. 5th Avenue, is three stories and will have an open rooftop.
Food Network named HopCat's Crack Fries “America’s 10 Best French Fries” in 2015.
The company says it made a $2.5 million investment in the Royal Oak location and hired more than 130 people from bartenders to dishwashers, cooks, security and hosts.
This is the 13th location for the Grand-rapids based company, and the 2nd in the metro Detroit area.
