This Thursday, savings website RetailMeNot is hoping to give people a little money back for shopping at several major retailers.

The company's first-ever "Cash Back Day" hopes to give holiday shoppers a head-start on buying their gifts and saving money.

It's happening on Thursday, Nov. 7, and will continue on the first Thursday of November every year moving forward.

All you have to do is log in or create a free account with RetailMeNot, choose and activate a cash back offer for where you want to shop online, and then make purchases with that retailer.

You can redeem your total rewards for cash through Venmo, Paypal or a bonus-value gift card for the retailer.

"Helping people save money has always been our goal and with the creation of Cash Back Day, we're doubling down on that mission by offering twice as much savings to shoppers just in time for the holidays," said Sara Skirboll, Shopping & Trends Expert for RetailMeNot. "With Cash Back Day, shoppers can save money early and then get their payout right before Christmas for any last-minute and post-holiday needs."
