Former college volleyball coach accused of criminal sexual conduct

A former college volleyball coach has been charged with criminal sexual conducted and possession of material of child sexually abusive activity.

Ryan Mortensen was arrested and arraigned on October 5. He has been charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity, criminal sexual conduct third degree and three counts of child sexually abusive material possession.

He was released on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

The investigation was launched after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Mortensen faces up to life in prison if convicted on all charged.
