Detroit police released a photo of a car they believe the suspect who killed Daniel Williams took off in.

Daniel Williams' brother Hassan works with Crime Stoppers, an organization dedicated to helping solve crimes.

“How do you sleep at night,” said Hassan Williams of her brother's killer.

On Aug. 20 around 2 a.m., 40-year-old Daniel Williams was leaving El Capri Lounge on Detroit’s east side while talking on his cell phone. Detroit police say two male suspects exited two separate cars and fired shots.

"Fifteen times is inhumane to shoot, even an animal," Hassan said. "For what? He was shot fifteen times and left on the cold ground for dead."

Detroit police say the suspect was seen driving a silver or gray Ford Crown Vic or Mercury Marauder the night of Daniel's death. The car had 20-inch rims when it sped off heading westbound on Palmer.

Authorities say another one of the suspects got into the photographed car, while another got into a black sedan.

If you believe you know who the car may belong to you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260.
