Former Vice President Joe Biden is acknowledging his campaign "took a gut punch" in Iowa but says he isn't going anywhere as he tries to position himself in New Hampshire as the new "Comeback Kid."
With initial and incomplete returns showing Biden in fourth place, he told voters in Somersworth on Wednesday he wouldn't sugarcoat the impact of Iowa on his 2020 effort. But he also said it was premature to write him off.
Biden says: "I'm counting on New Hampshire. We're going to come back."
New Hampshire has a tradition of humbling front-runners and throwing its support behind unlikely contenders.
