Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting at a Detroit club early Sunday morning.
A 22-year-old woman suffered a gun shot wound to the shoulder after she refused a man's advances at the Caribbean Club on McGraw.
Police say the victim was sitting in the rear passenger side of a silver 2009 Jeep Liberty, when the suspect approached and tried to talk to her. The woman refused the man's advances, and the driver of the Jeep Liberty pulled off.
The man then fired one round through the vehicle's passenger side door, hitting the victim in the right shoulder. The driver immediately took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 40's with a medium-length bread, wearing a blue shirt and black pants. He is armed with a handgun, according to police.
Officers say the woman has been listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
