Police have identified the victim in Friday’s deadly crash on I-96 near Williamson as 62-year-old Robert Leroy Wager from Lowell.
Wager was killed when the van he was driving hit the rear end of a semi-trailer.
The crash happened at about 1:30 Friday afternoon.
Nobody else was in the van at the time of the crash.
The semi driver was unharmed.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed while the crash was being cleaned up.
That crash is still under investigation.
