Pentagon travel ban still in effect for Michigan

The Department of Defense issued a memo outlining easing of travel restrictions for change-of-station moves, but Michigan, along with California and Florida, is an exception.

All three states have seen a surge in COVID-19 cases in the past few weeks.

Travel restrictions are lifted for states that have the removal of shelter-in-place orders or other travel restrictions; 14-day downward trajectory of flu-like and COVID-19-like symptoms; 14-day downward trajectory of new COVID-19 cases or positive tests.
