Parents with tattoos should keep an eye out for Hush products they may have around the house.

Hush Anesthetic, Inc. recalled about 275,000 units of its gels, sprays and foam soaps Tuesday due to a poisoning risk.

The package is not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The products contain lidocaine, posing a risk of poisoning to young kids if they ingest the product or put it on their skin.

The products were sold nationwide from January 2009 through November 2018 for $15 to $46 on sites including amazon.com, kingpintattoosupply.com, unitedtattoosupply.com as well as tattoos studios.

Consumers should immediately get the products out of children’s reach and contact Hush for a full refund, a free replacement cream or free replacement child-resistant cap.

Contact Hush at (888) 723-3730 if you have any questions or concerns.
