Former Vice President and presumptive Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden sat down for a Michigan exclusive interview with 7 Action News Reporter Brian Abel.
They spoke about his campaign, President Donald Trump and the COVID-19 response, as well as the chances Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer would be on the ballot as his Vice Presidential candidate in November.
You can see Brian's report above and the full interview with Biden below.
Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Matthews released this statement 7 Action News on behalf of the Trump campaign in response to our interview.
“President Trump has an exceptional record of delivering results for the American people. He built the strongest economy in the history of our country and will do it again, he cut taxes, strengthened America’s position in the world, is improving our trade deals, and is boldly leading the nation in the war against the coronavirus. Contrast his success with Joe Biden who has a record of failure stretching back more than four decades. From his job-killing Green New Deal, to his support for TPP and NAFTA, to his promise to raise taxes on the middle class, to his coddling of the Chinese communist regime, Biden’s horrific record and socialist proposals would be a disaster for this country.”
