Many parts of the northern Lower Peninsula had their first snow of the year.
The National Weather Service station in Gaylord, Michigan posted a photo on Facebook of its annual first snowman, noting that his appearance came early this year.
The snowfall comes days after many parts of Michigan experienced 80-degree weather.
