Hundreds of temporary General Motors workers are now celebrating their permanent employment with the automaker.
This week, about 930 temporary workers earned full-time positions at 30 GM facilities across the country.
GM says more temporary workers will also make the transition to full-time over the next few months.
The move is part of the four-year contract with the UAW that was ratified back in October.
