Fans of Subway can finally rest assured that their footlong sandwiches are really twelve inches long.
Last week a judge granted final approval to a settlement of a class-action lawsuit against the sandwhich chain.
Subway came under fire two years ago -- when a photo went viral showing a footlong sub was actually eleven inches instead of twelve.
The company has promised to keep a measurement tool in stores to check the length of the bread.
