Jonathan Nicola, South Sudanese man who posed as a 17-year-old basketball player in Windsor, will be released from jail on bond today.
The 29-year-old man was in Windsor on a student visa, and was reportedly living with the basketball coach until customs found out and stopped the apparent fraud.
Nicola is 6-feet-9 inches tall and weighs 202 pounds and played countless games for Windsor's Central Catholic Comets. Those games may now be in question.
According to CBC, Windsor resident Charles Juma paid the $7,000 bond. He is also from South Sudan.
