(CNN) — Apparently not everything from the '90s is coming back.
Actress Katie Holmes appeared on SiriusXM's "Just Jenny Show" and basically killed the hopes of "Dawson's Creek" fans everywhere.
While promoting her big-screen directorial debut, "All We Had," Holmes also talked a bit about the show which made her famous.
"Dawson's Creek," a popular drama about a close-knit group of friends from high school, ran on the WB from 1998 to 2003.
Although actors from other such long-canceled shows as "Full House" and "Gilmore Girls" have reunited for new projects, Holmes said of "Dawson's Creek," "I don't think we're going to do a reunion."
"We did grow up, but we see each other every now and then," Holmes said of castmates James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams. "I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson's writing, and it was of that time and it gave teenagers this voice."
But she said she has fond memories of playing Joey.
"It was a very, very special time," Holmes said. "A special show and I loved every minute of it."
