"Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" apologized after learning a person the late-night show mocked for having "Nazi hair" in fact had brain cancer.
The left-leaning raw comedy show ran a segment Wednesday on the Conservative Political Action Conference and poked fun at attendees. Those mocked included Kyle Coddington.
But the joke drew the ire from several, including family members of Coddington and resulted in tweets such as this.
When @iamsambee makes fun of your brother for having "Nazi hair." He actually has stage 4 brain cancer, but whatever floats your boat. pic.twitter.com/ULJC8nA3IX

Full Frontal's Twitter account issued an apology while the show pulled the segment. The show also donated $1,000 to Coddington's GoFundMe campaign.
We deeply apologize for offending @_that_kyle in our CPAC segment. We only learned of his condition today & have removed him from the piece.
