Michigan democrats accuse GOP of protecting Governor

Michigan republicans are coming under fire by democrats for not calling on Governor Snyder to testify about Flint's water crisis and for allowing the Governor to use taxpayer money for legal bills.

Speaking at a news conference Monday, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Brandon Dillon and House Democratic leader Tim Greimel said they want to hold republicans accountable for protecting Governor Snyder in the on-going water crisis in Flint.

Dillon said, "These legislators, Republican legislators, have done absolutely nothing to stop Governor Snyder from spending more than $1 million in lawyers to help him dodge responsibility for the Flint water crisis. That comes out to almost $6,500 per day."

Dillon also says Michigan taxpayers deserve better and republicans should call on the Governor to testify under oath.
