Amtrak plans to run trains as scheduled today. This comes just one day after a deadly accident outside of Philadelphia that killed two of its workers, and injured dozens of passengers.
An Amtrak train was traveling from New York City to Savannah, Georgia Sunday morning when it hit a backhoe on the tracks, causing it to derail.
Both Amtrak workers aboard the backhoe were killed. Over 30 people on the train were injured and taken to the hospital.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating what caused the accident.
