J.M. Smucker Company has recalled a limited number of cans of Natural Balance Ultra Premium Chicken and Liver Pate Formula cat food.
The recall is restricted to one lot of the cat food that is believed to have “elevated levels of choline chloride,” which can cause cats to suffer a wide variety of conditions, from nausea to diarrhea to vommiting to difficulty walking.
The product has a UPC of 2363353227. The lot number is 9217803. The “Best if used by” date is 08 04 2021.
If you have this cat food, you should throw it away. Contact your vet immediately if your cat displays the symptoms described in the recall.
