You can attend Motor City Comic Con from your home this year.

Michigan's comic book and pop culture convention is partnering with NRM and GeektainmentTV to live stream this year's experience for free.

The streamcast will start broadcasting at 12:30 p.m. on May 17 and run through the end of the convention. Fans can view on Motor City Comic Con's website or on GeektainmentTV app launching on Monday, May 13.

Live coverage of panels, exclusive behind the scenes, audience Q&As and games will be available for your viewing pleasure.

“Here at NRM, we are beyond ecstatic to be partnering with our hometown convention. We’re yearly attendees ourselves and truly feel that Motor City Comic Con deserves to be recognized on the same level as the national comic conventions,” says, Ian Bensman, CEO of NRM. “Our hope, is that by ringing in Motor City Comic Con’s 30th anniversary with its first ever live streaming stage, that people all over will be able to see the incredible things we and all the other attendees see and experience year in and year out.”

The convention will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace located on 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi. Dates include Friday, May 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, May 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
