Battle Creek VA Medical Center assists veterans with mental health during social isolation

Battle Creek VA Medical Center is transitioning a wide range of mental health services online to assist veterans during a time of social isolation.

The BCVAMC Virtual University provides veterans to have individual therapy sessions by video or telephone, as well as a large schedule of therapeutic groups and activities that are available through virtual modalities. These range from Coping with COVID support chats, to Stress Management Classes, to exercise classes, to Trauma Recovery groups, and more.

The virtual catalog can be accessed at the medical center internet site: battlecreek.va.gov/Virtual_University.

Battle Creek VAMC provides a wide range of mental health services for Veterans at its main campus in Battle Creek and at each of its clinics in metropolitan Grand Rapids, Lansing, Muskegon, and Benton Harbor.
