More than 50 birds, all different types, were removed from a home in Detroit on Thursday.
The removal is in response to a complaint received by the Detroit Animal Care and Control.

The birds will be receiving appropriate medical attention and further care with the Michigan Humane Society.
MHS says there is a possibility of criminal charges to the homeowner in the future.
