Monroe woman sets traps to protect Trump lawn signs

Kathy Bressler of Monroe is passionate about two things: her 10 cats and Donald Trump.

She supports the campaign with buttons and signs and volunteers for the local Republican party a couple of days a week. It's a level of political involvement she's never shown before.

"That's how strongly I feel about Mr. Trump," she said.

When Kathy discovered her Trump signs were being stolen and destroyed she decided to combine her love of cats and country. So her signs have been "poopy trapped."

"I thought well, gee, it's not a pleasant idea if someone would happen to step into the used cat litter that I've been sprinkling around my Trump signs. So, I thought that might be a good deterrent," said Bressler.

Like the cat poop, Kathy admits the irony couldn't be thicker given Trump's recent "locker room banter."

"I do think it's rather ironic and I think it's rather humorous because now my cats, my little pussy cats, are contributing and donating to the Trump campaign."
