Bowling Green State University has sent out alerts about searching for a missing student who is from Troy, Mich.
According to the university, 18-year-old Jacob Bromm, who is a freshman, was last seen on Nov. 20. He told his parents he wasn't coming home for Thanksgiving, and friends say Bromm told them he was taking an Uber to the airport to fly out west.
BGSU police are investigating and say there is no indication that his disappearance is not voluntary or that he is distressed.
