A Clinton Township man is now behind bars after trying to solicit sex with a minor online, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they received a tip that Ross Earl Kouba, 41, was using social media to solicit sex with an underage person.
A detective posing as an underage girl then began talking online with Kouba. The 41-year-old reportedly detailed his sexual desires and arranged a meeting in February. When he showed up at the specified location, he was arrested.
Kouba is facing charges including child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
He was arraigned on February 21 and remains in the Macomb County Jail.
