A Michigan bus driver is being credited with saving the life of a student who was choking.
According to WNEM, Jeffrey Saxton was on the bus home from school, eating Skittles when he began choking.
His cousin alerted the bus driver, Lynn Ingram, to the choking.
According to WNEM, Ingram pulled the bus over right away and grabbed the fifth grader, performing the Heimlich maneuver and getting the candy out.
"I did my job as a bus driver, as a mom, as a decent human being. I'm not a hero," she told WNEM.
