We are learning new information about what happened before a woman allegedly shot and killed her co-worker at the Burlington Coat Factory in Taylor.
It happened on October 16 at the store on Eureka. Police say 49-year-old Lorraine Faison was shot and killed by her co-worker Sandra Waller.
Waller sat in court as prosecutors presented evidence on Monday asking the judge to rule there is enough evidence for the case to move forward.
A store manager took the stand. She testified that the day before the murder the Waller and Faison argued about how to scan prices. The manager told them to work in different departments. When they continued arguing, she told them to go home for the day to cool off.
The next morning they returned. Surveillance video shows Waller in the break room as the day starts. Investigators say when Faison arrives, it appears she pushes Waller - who reacts and runs out of view of the camera.
Police say moments later there is a shooting. Waller allegedly calls 911 then confesses to the shooting her co-worker.
After reviewing this evidence the judge ruled there is enough for the case to go to trial. Right now Sandra Waller is charged with first degree murder.
