Oakland County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating after an apparent murder-suicide in Orion Township.
According to Sg.t Scott Howden, a 57-year-old man and 56-year-old woman from Orion Township were found dead inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds just before 12 p.m. Friday.
Deputies also found a 17-year-old foreign exchange student from Japan inside. She was uninjured.
According to deputies, they were called to a home for a welfare check when they found both the man and woman dead.
It is believed they were involved in a domestic situation which lead to the murder-suicide, according to deputies. The foreign exchange student also said she heard the couple verbally arguing on Thursday night.
