Ferndale Police are trying to identify a man accused of exposing himself in front of a woman at the corner of East Nine Mile and Paxton.

On June 17 around 5:15 p.m., a local woman went to a store to see if it was open. When she arrived she noticed a man sitting on a rock landscaping near the store entrance.

The suspect struck up conversation with the woman, saying his name was Nick, and he was a Ferndale resident.

Just before the woman left the store, 'Nick' asked her "What do you think?". The woman then noticed the suspect's genitals were exposed, and he began masturbating.

According to a post from the woman, the suspect offered her $20 to "just watch." She ran away and called police.

The suspect is described as white male in his 20's, 6-feet 2-inches tall, thin build with dark hair and a blue bandana headband. He was also wearing John Lennon style glasses and a black SpongeBob shirt with an image of a 'Krabby Patty' on it.

If you recognize the man in the sketch, contact Ferndale Police at (248) 541-3650.
