A man who claimed he was a police officer sexually assaulted a woman in Detroit, then ran her over with his car.
The woman is now hospitalized in temporary serious condition, police say.
She told police that the man picked her up in his car this morning. She was driven to a field and sexually assaulted in the 4600 block of Scotten in southwest Detroit. This took place around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Detroit police have not yet been able to provide a description of the suspect.
