A man accused of killing a 14-year-old boy in a hit-and-run accident in Wixom will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The crash occurred on Potter Road between North Wixom Road and Flamingo Road on June 11. The victim, Justin Lee, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Miguel Ibarra Cerda was arrested the following day in Lansing. He was previously considered a flight risk because police had reason to believe that he would go back to Mexico.

Cerda's bond has been set at $350,000 with no ten percent. He is charged with reckless driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident when at fault resulting in death.

He was also instructed not to have any contact with the family, he cannot drive and he cannot leave Michigan without alerting authorities.

Lee's family said he was a football player at Walled Lake Western. A vigil was held Wednesday night on the school's football field in honor of Lee.
