The Dearborn Police Department is looking for a young man accused of a home invasion in the 15400 block of Prospect.
Police say he gained entry into the home through a first floor window and stole items from inside, despite multiple family members sleeping in the bedrooms and others sitting on the porch.
Video surveillance shows that he appears to be wearing a t-shirt, shorts and Nike sandals.
"The callous action of this individual will never be tolerated in this city," said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad. "We will use every resource we have to hold the individual responsible."
