Your need to know information for voting in Meridian Twp.

Here's what you need to know when you vote on Tuesday in Meridian Township:

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and voters must show a picture ID. If you don't have any photo ID with you, you will be asked to sign an affidavit that you are not in possession of a picture ID before you will be allowed to vote.

If you'd like to see the ballot ahead of time, registered residents just need to on online and enter their voter information at here.

Also, the Meridian Township Clerk’s Office will be open this Saturday, August 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to issue absentee ballots.

Absentee ballots are available in person through 4:00 pm on Monday.

If you come in on Monday for a ballot, it must be completed at the Meridian Township Municipal Building and cannot be taken out of the building.

All voted ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 7.
