YG named headliner for Common Ground hip-hop day

LANSING, Mich. — More musical guests have been announced for the area's hottest music festival, Common Ground.

On Wednesday organizers announced the hip-hop lineup for Sunday, June 30.

YG is the headliner. He is a rapper from Compton with a hit debut single "Toot It and Boot It" in 2009.

Also, on June 30 fans can see A Boogie Wit da Hoodie who has a hit single, "Drowning."

And Big Boi, who is known for clever rhymes in his songs and being one-half of the duo, OutKast, will also perform.

You may recognize him from the 2019 Super Bowl where he performed with Maroon 5.

Common Ground says that 2 Live Crew and Trap Manny will also have scheduled sets that day.

Single Day Tickets for Sunday, June 30th go on-sale to the public on Friday, March 8th at 10:00 AM.
