In 2018, Xavier DeGroat had a chance to share his story and obstacles that he has faced with his autism with Michigan International Speedway President Rick Brenner. Mr. Brenner and the MIS is proud to show their support of the XDAF and is providing them an opportunity to spread the word of their mission.
Xavier will be interviewed by Motor Racing Network (MRN) at 9:30 am on June 8th, and will be meeting with some of the most prolific NASCAR drivers in history, such as Jeff Gordan, Darrell Waltrip, and others.

Founded in January 2018, the mission of the Xavier DeGroat Autism Foundation is to create and promote opportunities for people with autism through advocacy, education, economic opportunities, and humanitarian efforts. Xavier DeGroat, the Foundation’s CEO and Founder was diagnosed with autism at age four and has experienced discrimination, economic and job setbacks, and educational difficulties throughout his life. Xavier has decided to dedicate his life to helping others and is working to create a society that better understands autism and enables those with autism to be successful.
