A wreath laying ceremony is being held in East Lansing Friday in honor of Memorial Day.
A wreath will be laid by the city of East Lansing and the Lansing-based 1st Battalion, 24th Marines.
It will honor the men and women serving in the armed forces.
The ceremony will happen at the Medal of Honor Monument at the East Lansing Community Center at 12:00 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend.
