Two women will stand trial in the killing of a man earlier this year.
Hon. R. Darryl Mazur bound over 20-year-old Savanna Frinkle and 46-year-old Sjiwana Taylor to circuit court on Wednesday, Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka said.
Both women are charged with open murder in the death of Marvin Bearden.
Police say they found Bearden with stab wounds near the intersection of Washington Avenue and First Street on August 30th.
Bearden died at the hospital the next day.
Both women face up to life in prison if convicted.
A trial date has not been scheduled at this time.
