Michigan State Police officials say the woman who died in a western Michigan house fire has been identified.
Authorities said Saturday that 79-year-old Evelyn Ware died in the blaze Wednesday in Lake County's Ellsworth Township.
Ware, the homeowner, was identified after an autopsy.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
