Police suspect that the same woman committed two armed robberies in northern Jackson County.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, a woman covering her face with a scarf and sunglasses entered the Admiral gas station on Page Avenue in Leoni Township and robbed the employee at gunpoint.
Shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, America's Best Value Inn on Royal drive in Blackman Township was robbed at gun point by a woman.
Blackman-Leoni Public Safety Director Michael Jester tells us that investigators suspect the same woman committed both robberies.
The woman is described as either white or Hispanic. She was wearing a green, Carhart jacket, blue jeans, blue stocking cap, black gloves, a camouflage scarf, and pink shoes with white toes.
