Police say a 45 year old woman was shot outside her apartment complex in the 1200 block of Edgewood late Wednesday night.
She told police she heard a noise that sounded like a gunshot. Then she noticed she had been shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
There are no suspects at this time, and nobody has been arrested. The shooting is under investigation.
