The Okemos woman who admitted to killing her two newborn children is going to prison.
Melissa Mitin was sentenced Wednesday morning to 27 and a-half years to 40 years behind bars for second degree murder.
Mitin took a plea deal last month -- pleading guilty to murdering her infant daughter in 2013.
As part of the plea deal, she also admitted to killing her newborn son in December of 2014.
