One person is dead and another person was injured in single vehicle accident.
It happened Tuesday night just after 8 p.m.
Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety responded to I-94 westbound just west of Race Road for a single vehicle personal injury accident.
Officers were advised that a vehicle had rolled over and a person had been ejected from the vehicle.
It was found that the vehicle was driven by a 24-year-old male and a 28-year-old female passenger. The initial investigation showed the vehicle lost control, hitting the cable barriers causing the vehicle to roll.
The woman ejected from the vehicle was found to have severe injuries.
The female was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The male driver received minor injuries and was also transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital for treatment.
At this time the accident is still under investigation. It does not appear alcohol or speed were a factor in the accident.
